Kami tidak mengkategorikan jenis kamera yang kalian gunakan untuk mengambil dokumentasi, dilengkapi dengan keterangan Dimana lokasi pengambilan dokumentasi, hasil karya siapa (jika mengetahui) dan Keterangan diri.

CATATAN: ART/KARYA yang diambil meliputi graffiti/mural, coret2an unik, tari2an atau berbagai macam pertunjukan seni (topeng monyet termasuk!)

BEHIND THE SCENE second part!

To be honest we actually forgot to documented the photo shoot with Pak Raden. T__T

I was too amazed of how GOOD Pak Raden is when he was on the set!

There were lots too choose and one of the computer in the office had to be repaired, we think the other photos are there, SORRY!

So in the meantime, FAR will show the FAR crew took photo with Pak Raden. LOL

Happy Independence day!

It has been 64 years we've been Independent, so to celebrate this day our theme is based on one of the country national anthem called 'Gebyar - Gebyar'.

On this issue, our Person of the month is Bim bim the drummer of Slank, talks about the freedom, brotherhood, togetherness and nationalism through their music and how living in Indonesia effect their freedom on making their music.

Issue 3rd is about express our minds and thoughts, not only through music also through art. The Nation on Mission captured the laughs and sad of this special day, how each picture describe hundreds of different perspectives.

Not to mention the beauty of our Downtown Hipster and Trivia Tribe, showcase the modern fashion and the natural beauty of colors. Social Brew is also going way back to interview people who witness and survive the 1945 revolution, what they see, how they cope with the chances and what got left behind inside their mind and heart.

WISH UPON THE CHILDREN

As Far try to grow and show more, this 2^nd edition, that came out on June/July 2009, is all about the growth of Indonesia’s future generation. On the second issue let us focus to the new generations of Indonesia, who initiate changes of children’s way of thinking and the color of youth.

Cover comical Pak Raden a.k.a Drs Suyadi, he is known for his character in Unyil show as a father figure, the thick mustache and his traditional blangkon, discusses to Far about his career and his works. Pak Raden also tells FAR about his perspective of the technology to the kids nowadays.

Our lovely writers have complied collection of articles and stories discussing the reality of children’s rights, how the social lend their hands abandoned and homeless kids. Dik Doank shows us his action on helping the children in Jakarta and have fun with it! We also cover the history of Batavia know more general as Betawi now and the story of Wayang Golek Betawi.

This is a MUST HAVE issue; Jimmy ‘Upstairs’ shows his artwork and how music affects him on creating his artwork. Photo journal by our marvelous contributors on their journey through children’s eyes also the fashion spreads of our Tainted Fairytale.

BORN TO REVIVE (1)

At last at last at last!

After so long we can upload the 1st issue of Far Magazine. The first issue was out on April/May 2009, with the cover and also our Person of the Month, Nicholas Saputra been beat up, Make up artist by the marvelous Tarita Kowara (you will be hearing this name a lot in Far magazine btw).

The title of Far first issue is Born to Revive, the idea was to have, to restore, to stimulate a media focusing in art and visualin Indonesia, starting in Jakarta. This is just the beginning of a new media, where it is create for the Indonesians, from Indonesia and back to Indonesia. :))

This issue far gives out the in and out of how Nicholas Saputra survive in Indonesia, what he thinks about living and being an individual in Indonesia. Plus showcasing bunch of artwork by our Indonesian hidden talents that lives around the globe.

Not just the artistic side of Jakarta, we also cover behind the story of Jakarta's Underdogs Jaipong dancers, how they earn money, where they live and the risk of this profession. Plus the area you have to check out when visiting Brooklyn.

In this post I would like to publish and show some photos on the process~

Photos from covers photo shoot;

These great photos were taken by Niki Yusuf Saputra. The concept was to give a survival feeling

(I think we went over the fence,LOL) And we thought it would be mad to show Nicholas Saputra looking like this to our reader! The make up was done by Tarita.

Niki suggested the photo feeling and editing, while FAR created the story and concept behind it. Though without both parties this photo would not look this good!

This is the photo of 'Keong Emas', taken by Ferdiansyah. The dress she wore was from Agnes Budhisurya, hair and make up by Willly Wahyudi.

So for Far Magazine first 'ever' post is an Apology post and an Introduction of Far Magazine

team, with extra of what we have been doing!
